Notes on batch 10 of my home brew.

Mash

  1. Mash Duration: 60 min
  2. Strike Temperature: 77 C
  3. Mash Temperature: 68 C
  4. Mashout Temperature: 77 C

Ingredients:

  1. 8 L - Water
  2. 3 Kg - Pale Malt
  3. 0.25 Kg - Carapils

Boil

  1. Boil Duration: 60 min
  2. Volume: 17 L
  3. IBU: 30.23

Ingredients:

  1. 60 min - 10 g - Columbus (AA 16.5%)
  2. 15 min - 1 tsp. - Irish Moss
  3. 15 min - 10 g - Willamette (AA 4%)
  4. 5 min - 20 g - Willamette (AA 4%)

Ferment

  1. Yeast: Safale US-05 (pitched on yeast cake)
  2. Original Gravity: 1.056
  3. Final Gravity: 1.017
  4. ABV: 5.1%

  5. Started: 02/01/2014
  6. Bottled: 15/02/2014

Notes

Final reading is rather odd, might have been a measurement error. Doesn't seem over carbonated so far.
