Notes on batch 2 of my home brew.

Mash

  1. Mash Duration: 75 min
  2. Strike Temperature: 75 C
  3. Mash Temperature: 68 - 63 C
  4. Mashout Temperature: 75 C

Ingredients:

  1. 8 L - Water
  2. 3 Kg - Maris Otter

Boil

  1. Boil Duration: 90 min
  2. Volume: 17 L

Ingredients:

  1. 90 min - 40 g - Fuggles
  2. 15 min - 1 tsp. - Irish Moss
  3. 5 min - 40 g - Fuggles

Ferment

  1. Yeast: Safale S-04 (pitched on yeast cake)
  2. Original Gravity: 1.05
  3. Final Gravity: 1.01
  4. ABV: 5.2%

  5. Fermentation Duration: 4 weeks
