Notes on batch 5 of my home brew.

Mash

  1. Mash Duration: 60 min
  2. Strike Temperature: 77 C
  3. Mash Temperature: 65 - 62 C
  4. Mashout Temperature: 77 C

Ingredients:

  1. 8 L - Water
  2. 3 Kg - Vienna Malt
  3. 0.5 Kg - Carapils

Boil

  1. Boil Duration: 90 min
  2. Volume: 17 L

Ingredients:

  1. 90 min - 25 g - Fuggles
  2. 15 min - 1 tsp. - Irish Moss
  3. 5 min - 20 g - Fuggles
  4. 0 min - 20 g - Fuggles

Ferment

  1. Yeast: Safale US-05 (pitched on yeast cake)
  2. Original Gravity: 1.06
  3. Final Gravity: 1.008
  4. ABV: 6.8%

  5. Started: 2/2/2013
  6. Bottled: 10/3/2013
