Notes on batch 7 of my home brew.

Mash

  1. Mash Duration: 60 min
  2. Strike Temperature: 80 C
  3. Mash Temperature: 70 - 68 C
  4. Mashout Temperature: 75 C

Ingredients:

  1. 8.5 L - Water
  2. 3 Kg - Pale Malt
  3. 0.25 Kg - Carapils

Boil

  1. Boil Duration: 75 min
  2. Volume: 17 L
  3. IBU: 46.08

Ingredients:

  1. 75 min - 16 g - Columbus (AA 16.5%)
  2. 15 min - 1 tsp. - Irish Moss
  3. 5 min - 26 g - Cascade (AA 7.2%)
  4. 0 min - 23 g - Cascade (AA 7.2%)

Ferment

  1. Yeast: Muntons Gold
  2. Original Gravity: 1.055
  3. Final Gravity: 1.016
  4. ABV: 5.12%

  5. Started: 15/6/2013
  6. Bottled: 21/7/2013
