Notes on batch 9 of my home brew.

Mash

  1. Mash Duration: 60 min
  2. Strike Temperature: 78 C
  3. Mash Temperature: 69 C - 68 C
  4. Mashout Temperature: 75 C

Ingredients:

  1. 8 L - Water
  2. 3.2 Kg - Pale Malt
  3. 0.4 Kg - Carapils

Boil

  1. Boil Duration: 70 min
  2. Volume: 17 L
  3. IBU: 29.79

Ingredients:

  1. 70 min - 10 g - Columbus (AA 16.5%)
  2. 15 min - 1 tsp. - Irish Moss
  3. 5 min - 10 g - Columbus (AA 16.5%)
  4. 0 min - 20 g - Columbus (AA 16.5%)

Ferment

  1. Yeast: Safale US-05
  2. Original Gravity: 1.054
  3. Final Gravity: 1.016
  4. ABV: 4.99%

  5. Started: 24/11/2013
  6. Bottled: 28/12/2013

Notes

Very pleased with this batch everything feels like it went well.
